Amesbury Pines Disc Golf Course

I created this page before realizing that the course already had a web page!
The official Amesbury Pines web site is amesburypines.com.

Location

Amesbury Pines is located in Amesbury, Massachusetts, near the New Hampshire border. It is 1 mile from I-495 and about 45 minutes north of Boston.

Directions: I-495 to Exit 54 onto 150 North for 0.7 miles. Turn left at blinking yellow light onto Highland. Course is 0.2 miles on the right. 1st tee is behind baseball backstop.

The old country store is closed. There is a nearby CVS and a gas station/convenience store. The Amesbury Skate and Sport shop sells discs. Click below to see a map.

Course

The course is 18 holes. The tees are gravel and there's a nice hand-drawn map at most tees to show you were the pin is. Most holes are 250-350 feet, straight shots. Two holes play across water (#16 & #18). Two holes have dog-legs, one left (#8) and one right (#6). 11 of the holes play in a tall pine forest; trees are not tightly packed and most forest holes have a clear "fairway". Besides the water, OB danger is minimal.

I made up a map of the course from memory. It's not to scale, but it might help you find some of the tees and get a sense of how the course is layed out.
